Scrumptious Lennon and Scrumptious McCartney Sons of Tiger Lilly and Sky - October 23rd 2011
_
Hi Michelle,
Just a quicky to let you know how much Jim and I are really appreciative of the daily updates.
We look forward to the pictures every day and it is wonderful to see our 'boys" and what they have been up to.
We enjoy seeing them with their Mum and Dad and are amazed at how much they grow daily. I know it is a huge amount of work for you to do this especially when you have 2 litters .
But for us as expectant "Mums and Dads " it is fantastic. So Thank you.
We cannot wait till next weekend to see our boys Talk soon Love Adrienne & Jim xx
Lennon
& Macca are settling in well! They are doing all the essentials very well,
including eating, although I guess you knew that would not be much of a
problem???
They
are playing well with their new toys and finding plenty of time to
sleep......spot the kitties among the furry spreads! Their favourite toy is a
grasshopper on elastic !
i
hope they sleep well tonight , They are such gorgeous kittens we are so happy
with them .They have settled in so well I think we will be able to let them
explore another room tomorrow afternoon. No doubt more mischief ahead!!
Thank
you so much we will keep sending photos as they settle in and grow. we know
they have had a wonderful start in life and cannot thank you enough for
everything you have done to give them such great start. It is wonderful to know
they are so healthy and strong.
Your experience of buying a kitten from a "breeder" sums up exactly
why I knew you were the person I wanted to be my kittens mummy!
Talk
soon
Purrs
from Lennon and Macca!

Scrumptious Teddy Boy Son of Tiger Lilly and Sky - October 23rd 2011
_Teddy has been with us for just
over a week now and he has really settled in, in fact he runs the place!
His confident and playful nature has really come out and he just loves to be
chased (when it is not him doing the chasing) and given constant attention.
If we are throwing the mouse around for him and then have to go into another
room to do something, he will meow until we start the game again. He
loves a challenge so watching him run around is like watching someone on an
obstacle course! The reason why most of the photos are of him sleeping or
lying down is because he is too fast to capture when he is playing! He is
just sooooo cute when he is asleep though that I can’t leave him alone.
We are really obsessed with him
and can’t wait to get back home to him whenever we go out. He can also be
very affectionate and loves cuddles as he starts purring every time we pick him
up and give him rubs. This morning he jumped onto our bed at 6am and we
had a solid hour of purring and nuzzling. But he soon realises that
he could be off chasing something so we don’t get that side of him for
long!
Thank you so much for raising
such a healthy gorgeous kitten, we couldn’t ask for more. He was so well
trained from day one, using his litter every single time and he even knew to go
to sleep in his wee bed. He is obviously very well socialised as he
loves visitors and I can imagine that he would be absolutely fine with a dog or
another cat. If anyone ever mentions to me that they would like a
ragdoll cat, I will be giving them your contact details straight away!
There is a reason that your waiting list is so long J
It’s just so nice to know that
your kitten has been raised in a loving home and has been given the best start
in life, so thank you so much for giving us the best Xmas pressie ever!!
Scrumptious Carter Son of Tiger Lilly and Sky - October 23 2011
_
Hey Michelle
Carter has fitted into our family perfectly; It's like he
has been here for ages - friends and family were shocked to come visit on the
first afternoon and see how chilled out he was - running along
playing with our two year old son; Cohen. On the first night, he had managed to
use the litter box no sweat plus by the morning he was eating and drinking like
he had no worries - This was just after my son had a full blown tantrum in
front of him and Carter just looked at him as if too say "what is your
problem?"
He is such a loving affectionate little guy, he follows me
everywhere around the house, when he is asleep I have sneak out of lounge
to make sure he doesn't follow as I know he needs his sleep. He has
investigated all cupboards including sitting on the dishwasher helping me to
unload, He is a nightmare trying to make the bed but wouldn't want it any other
way as it is just so much fun. My husband couldn't believe it when he got
in the bath that Carter thought he was getting in too - the moment he
got his paw wet he did a silly dance not putting his paw back down as if it was
broken....so so cute - after it had dried; he then decided to happily fall
asleep on the tiles surrounding the bath. Just wanted to thank
you Michelle for everything and I can see that Carter has had the best
start! We are looking forward to many happy years growing with Carter - we
can see so early he is going to be such a joy!!
Lots of Love, Brent, Tarryn and Cohen Moratti xx
Scrumptious Willow Daughter of Sapphira - 23 November 2011
_
Willow is the best
present I could ever ask for! She is so special! Whenever I get home she comes
leaping down to see me and when I lift her up to give her a cuddle she doesn't
stop purring! When I go to sleep she is on my bed jumping around at my feet or
cuddling up to me, purring so loud it sounds like a motor, and sometimes when
she is in a very smoochy mood she tries to lick my nose and eyelashes! She is
the happiest kitten ever, she's super playful, and gets along great with our
other cat! :)
Getting to see pictures of her each day as she grew was amazing! When I got her
I felt like I knew her already :) And the pictures were always SO gorgeous and
PERFECT to show to all our friends :D I remember being excited just finding out
that she had opened her eyes! :D When I got her she was so much smaller then I
expected and SO cute of course :) She is growing well and enjoys me brushing
her :) I love her so much, she is just the most perfect kitten ever, and I can
never wait to get home and see her again!
Thank you SO SO SO much for this little angel :)

Scrumptious Enzo Ferrai Son of Sapphira - 23 November 2011
_When
I first set about finding the ideal cat for me, I was browsing the internet
& came across Ragdolls. Wow, what amazing cats! Looking at N.Z breeders,
Michelle's website stood out to me with her gorgeous photos & video's.
I
gave her a call & she had a current litter from her beautiful Tinkerbell
& Sky.
She
invited me over to see her beautiful kittens & I was sold. I joined the
waiting list. I knew I had at least 8 months wait for my two kittens & I
started collecting cat items for my kitty paradise!
In
October Micki sent out an email saying she had to re-home Twinkle due to an
allergy that had inflamed her bowel. Well, I couldn't resist!
I
had met Twinkle on 2 previous visits to Micki's & I knew that I could
provide the perfect home for her. When I first bought Twinkle home she was on
prednisone & hypoallergenic biscuits.
According
to the vet she could quite happily stay on these for the rest of her life. Uh
no, that didn't go down well with me! Having read about the side effects of
long term usage of prednisone & 100% dry feed I set about finding someone
who could help me get Twinkle on a species appropriate diet that would suit
her.
I
came across a holistic vet in Auckland that could put together a diet for
Twinkle that would not upset her condition. I made a trip to Auckland &
came back with a chilly bin full of raw food. Twinkle's first feed of rabbit
mince was like kitty crack!
I
had to laugh as Lyn had said if she doesn't like rabbit we can try venison.
Thanks to Lyn & the team at Raw Essentials Twinkle is now on 100% raw food
diet with loads of variety & no allergies in sight!
I
originally had my heart set on kittens from Tiffany or Angel, But with the
early arrival of Twinkle I wanted to get her a playmate as quick as I could.
The next available litter was from Sapphire & I picked Micki's first blue
bi color baby & called him Enzo. As Enzo grew I got to follow all the
stages with Micki's gorgeous photos & video's.
Enzo
was ready to come home at 9 weeks old & when I got the phone call from
Micki I couldn't contain my excitement, Jumping up & down & clapping my
hands. Twinkle was looking at me as if to say "what's going on here"
as I disappeared out the door with a cat cage without her in it!
When
Enzo came home he settled in nicely. He was so relaxed due to the wonderful
environment that Micki provides. Unfortunately Twinkle was not impressed with
the new arrival. Who was this little guy who was invading her kitty
paradise!
Enzo
is the perfect kitten, no problems using his litterbox & not getting upset
at his grumpy older sister! Twinkle is slowly softening & I'm sure
they will be good friends in no time.
Thank
you Micki for providing me with 2 bundles of joy that will provide me lots of
laughter & joy for the years to come.
Derrin

Update: ... less than a week... bestest friends!
Scrumptious Poppy Daughter of Sapphira - 23rd November 2011
The first thought that crossed my mind when we first moved to our new house was… finally, I can have a cat!!!! But not any cat… I was after something truly special, I was on a mission, library books, internet… wasn’t difficult, Ragdolls seemed to tick all the boxes, and finding the perfect breeder wasn’t complicated either, one look at Truly Scrumptious Ragdolls website and I knew exactly where I was going to get my kitten from.
Then the waiting… the hardest part, but Michelle kept us well updated, until one day my baby was born!! We got amazing pictures from day one, almost daily, I have to say I am not much a Facebook fan, but I found myself totally hooked, the best part of my day became coming home, making myself a cup of tea and staring at the pictures of the most beautiful creature I had ever seen in my life.
Counting the days… and the grams… 10 weeks seemed too long, but the day arrived when I could take her home, she knew since the second she put her little paw in our house, that this was her home, what can I say? Poppy has topped all my expectations, I can’t hardly remember how life was before she arrived, she is loving, gentle, clever, playful, such a good natured sweet little girl, we love her so much! She lets me cut her nails, brush her hair, even lets me put her the harness and comes with me for little walks around the garden, but the morning cuddles… ahhhhh all week I look forward to the weekend when I can spend extra time in bed, just cuddling my fluffy baby and listening to her purrrrrrr… it is a dream come true… I could already write a book about my dear Poppy, but I better stop here :0)
Thanks Michelle, for your dedication and for creating a Truly amazing experience for us!! Love, Cristina
Scrumptious Charlie Son of Sapphira - 23rd November 2011
Hi Michelle,
Thought I would drop you a line to let you know how well Charlie is doing. He has adjusted amazingly quickly to his new home and has the run of the house!
Very curious, vocal and so smoochy. We have bonded so well and he has already got me sorted :)
Charlie was very curious about 'outside' so bought a harness to give him a taste of fresh air. He has only been out twice as there are a few dogs in the neighborhood who startled him. I won't take him out again until he's a bit older.
I have a large house so he charges around lots to let go his energy.
He is indeed a gorgeous ragdoll - my friends are very envious and he is so sociable when they visit. Thought you would like a few of his photos. It's a start to his portfolio.
Hope all is going well with your new litters.
Kind regards, Jan.
Scrumptious Coco and Scrumptious Oscar Son and Daughter of Sapphira - 23rd November 2011
Hi Michelle
All is going really well.
Oscar is such a smooch. He is always up for cuddles and just loves India, follows her around and he lets her carry him around like a baby. He is always looking for a lap to sleep on and someone to snuggle with. Coco is completely different. She is very independent and play is more of a priority than cuddles. She is confident and always running off to explore or enticing Oscar to play. She is definitely the BOSS cat and the winner in all the play fights with Oscar. If he wants to sleep she will do everything she can to get him to play.
Its lovely seeing there personalities emerge and its nice having two very different kittens who like different things.
We all love them so much and they are very much part of the family. They are delightful and so gorgeous.
Will send through something for your web page soon!

Scrumptious Paris Daughter of Tiffany and Sky - 14th December 2011
Hi Michelle
I want to thank you so much for our amazing new addition to our family - Paris! Words cannot express how much we love her! We know she is a very special wee girl as she is your very first lilac mitted kitten that you've bred and we want you to know that we are very honored to have her as our very first Ragdoll!
We certainly did our research and were very 'fussy' about the breed of kitten we would be looking for as we are NZKC Reg breeders of Maltese and our dogs and puppies all live in our home with us so we we knew the type of temperament we wanted in a cat so once we decided on a Ragdoll to be the best breed to fit in with our other fur-babies here, we started visiting several Ragdoll breeders. We weren't easy to please, as I wanted to ensure we not only had a kitten with a fabulous nature - but I also wanted the very best quality kitten I could find that would be suitable to Show, and potentially to breed from also. We also know how important it is that our kitten be raised in a home (not in a cage) so this is another reason why we approached Michelle, as we wanted a kitten who had been bought up in a family atmosphere, who was used to being around children and other animals, and wanted our new kitten to be bought up the same way we bring up each of our puppies - showered with love from birth! This is why we were delighted to have a 'Truly Scrumptious' Ragdoll kitten (and not just ANY kitten - but a rare Lilac Mitted!), and during the many phone calls and emails it was obvious that Michelle and I have so much in common - especially the love and passion we share for our animals that we share our homes and our lives and our hearts with.
Our family could not have wanted more in a kitten…My three daughters have their new best friend and she literally follows us all around like one of my dogs do! Paris is so much fun to watch playing and finds anything amusing - whether it be chasing her toys around the ground, or jumping inside a plastic bag to 'hide' and then pounce out at any unsuspecting victim, or carrying around items of interest inside her mouth - just like a puppy would! Everyone loves her and she's such a smoocher and has the most amazing purr - she is constantly purring and happy to be held by anyone.
She's always happy and is contented as long as there is someone around to 'hang out' with - whether its sleeping with the kids on their beds, or being wheeled around by my 4 yr old in a dolls pram, or jumping into one of my Maltese beds and cuddling up against them - she is just so cruisy!
So as you can gather - our darling Paris has fitted right in with our family since day 1 and anyone would think she's been here forever. She is constantly wanting to play with my Maltese - especially our wee 5 mth old Maltese, Mini. They are hilarious together and are never far apart from each other. For a few weeks Paris found that my Maltese are so placid that one of them was even willing to even let her suckle! It was so funny one Sat avo we had visitors around and my husband told us to look down to see our 2 yr old Maltese girl Nina - lying on her back while Paris has a 'dry' suckle off her! (No she had no puppies and isn't even pregnant lol) She was lying there purring flat out while Nina lays there contented to let this new arrival have her way - thankful this stage didn't last for more than a couple of weeks lol!
Paris has such a great personality - she's playful but also very laid back which is why she fits in so well here - friends come and visit and comment on how she could so easily be one of my maltese puppies lol!
Thanks so much again for Paris - she's one much loved member of our family and brings us so much joy, fun, love and cuddliness all wrapped up in one cute-as bundle - she certainly is one very Truly Scrumptions wee kitty!
With love from Toni Fanfulla and family at Fanfare Maltese, Tauranga xoxox
Scrumptious Chowder and Scrumptious Marzipan Son and Daughter of Tiffany and Sky - 14th December 2011
Wonderful little members if the family. They are so intelligent at so young an age. They can size up the layout of a house with a single runthru. They know all the people, dogs and appliances in our busy home. Completely unafraid and confident. We are amused by them every minute of the day! Lucy Lawless
Scrumptious Marley Daughter of Tiffany and Sky - 14th December 2011
Hi Michelle
Marley is doing really well and last week went for her booster vaccination. Weighed in at 1.3kg so she has put on about 100gms per week. Eats everything put down for her together with dried food which is available all the time, as well as the cicadas that Maddie catches (and sometimes Marley) and brings them into the house. It is a delight to see how well Marley and Maddie get on. In fact you can guarantee where one of them is, the other is not far behind. They are good company for each other. Must admit when Marley first arrived Maddie was a real b..... (running away and growling at Marley) but that only lasted for 24 hours. Before Marley arrived Maddie made Mille’s (who is the Senior Cat) life hell as she constantly chased and jumped on her, much to her disgust, but now she is left in peace and in fact since Maddie has been speyed they seem to be getting on better. Marley shows a lot more respect for Millie and seems to keep her distance.
Enjoy the updates on the new arrivals. You certainly have had a busy kitten season :)
Hugs, Carolyn
Scrumptious Molly May Daughter of Angel and Sky - 24th January 2012
Hi Michelle :)
Thank you so much for bringing Molly May down to Auckland on Sunday. My goodness she is ADORABLE & we are absolutely smitten with our kitten!
She cried in the car on the way home - which was sooo hard. But she settled down well in the bathroom and played with all her new toys and nibbled at her biscuits and cuddled up to us. We stayed with her for a couple of hours & she eventually fell asleep on my lap - so sweet. And WOW has she got a purr and a half!! Like a little lioness hehe :)
We got up early the next day to play before we went to work, and it was sooo hard leaving her, she cried and cried :( when Jono was brushing his teeth she climbed up his leg all the way to his waist!!! Funny eh!!! Soo cute :)
After work we introduced her to the lounge and she loved it! She took immediately to her climbing tree - she loves it!! She's sooo clever at climbing! (well she is a cat!). And she fell asleep on my lap while we watched tv. Sooooo sweet. We just want to cuddle and play with her all the time, it breaks our heart to hear her cry as we leave for work :(
She has been using her litter box - and does this cute little warble meow when she does hehe.
My next door neighbours (our cousins) are visiting during the day to play and cuddle and keep her company. She just looooves to be near people!!
We are very proud parents and those who have visited have said she is the most beautiful kitten they've ever seen (of course we think so too!!!).
Thankyou so much for all the tender loving care and hard work you've put into raising our little button. It's a lot of work with the other litters too and then taking all the pictures to keep us updated - we are just so appreciative! We feel soo blessed that little Molly has had the best possible start to life - thankyou!!
xx Annaliese & Jono
Scrumptious Milly Daughter of Angel and Sky - 24th January 2012
